i want my system to be "louder"

Here's my current configuration:

Stock Headunit > SVEN7 > AMP > Speakers.

I've cranked up the gain on the amp to near max and the music just isnt "loud." Is there something I can such as adding a Line Driver or something similar?

AMP: Alpine MRV-F545

Speakers: 125W RMS 4 Ohms

There is definately enough juice produced by the amp to power the speakers. I'm thinking it's my stock head unit.

What's a SVEN7 ? A Line Output Converter? Some LOC's are better than others.

Doesn't necessarly make it louder, you just don't have to turn up the gain as much.
