i want more bass whats a better option ???

im currently running a skar vvx 12 in a ported box with 2.0 cubes airspace before dispalcement tuned to 36hz. my amp is a cadence dca 1600 1600 watt mono at 1ohm.

at full tilt the sub moves a good amount of air but i want more. im wondering if upgrading to a better 12 like a new dc level 4 in the box i currently have will produce more output/spl than if i was running 2 skar vvx

so which will get louder a new dc level 4 in my current box, or getting a new 212 ported box and running 2 skar vvx12's ???

running stock electrical with big 3. at full tilt my voltages never drops below 12

To obtain an audible gain over what you have now, you will need to either double your power or cone area. This is assuming your box is designed and built by a professional and cannot get any better for what you intend to use it for.

and i drive a 2000 lesabre, the car has a pretty nice size trunk but i dont want to fill it up with subs cuz i still use it

im basicaly stuck with these dimensions to keep my trunk space where i want it

39 inches wide

16 inches high

20 inches deep

the box was part of the sub+box deal skar did. its an okay box but honestly i feel it hols back the full potential of the sub a little

You better go with the DC. I don't think you would need more depth to alot the right cubic space if you were gonna run 2 12's in a ported box. I would assume you would want to go ported since you want more output. Grab a pair of Obsidian 12's they are loud and deep. You really cant be the price. If you have more cash to spend you could always try running a single 15 or 18!

depends on the subs and box size ,but i think you do just fine the lvl 4's would be nice
