let me guess, you bought 8 of those flxx's... and I think the closest you could get would be .25, but after rise you may be good, or just run 2 amps.

no i haven't but i figured 4 dual 4 is .5 so i thought double would add not subtract ohms my mistake..

i ordered 6 and am gonna run them at a 1.6 ohm load i believe on a bc 5500

i was gonna do a box but wall seams like the best choice to go with ..do u happened to know what i would see out of the bc 5500 at 1.6 ohms?

i mean port area, volume, alignment... and you wont be seeing 1.6 ohms, you will be seeing almost 3 i bet depending on the size of your box...

wire them each in series to 8 ohms and wire all 8 parallel for a 1 ohm final load....or in parallel all the way, for the .25 ohm load.

3 really? o ok well im not familiar with designs an builds im just gonna ask an experienced builder to shoot the plans an my dad said he would build it hes a carpenter an said aslong as he has all the measurements he can do it

well theres only one way to find out..

and i mean i know for a fact thell be an upgrade from my alpine type rs..

an if i dont like them i got them at a steal ill just make three diff boxes an sell um on CL

i am still curious why you don't just do a box for the 4 R's...like a walled 4th order band pass like twistedchild420 as an example.

thats what I kept telling him to do... whatever, glad to see he wasted his money on those flxx's...
