I want a LOUD 10" single driver front stage.. are these my only options

Seleniums you listed will work well for your application. I've installed a few sets of them and also 12's. With the right xover point/slope and some EQ'ing they can sound decent and get very loud...

 
You think the 10" or even 12" selenium drivers would DEFINETELY sound better than the pyle pro

On paper the pyle just looks amazing with its power handling, sensitivity, frequency range,and is the right ohm. Im only going to have one big speaker per door so 8 ohm seleniums would kinda be wasting my 2 ohm capable amp...

Im not a huge sq guy, and I dont care much for midbass, but I cant stand distortion or static

I wish someone other than the 1 guy on parts express would have written a review on them
