What out there has alot of sound settings so i can tune my sub and highs to sound like i want. My current HU only has bass mid and high. no crossovers or filters. I need more.

Im sure everyone will reccommend the Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS. But is there anything similar with a smaller price tag. Doesnt have to be very new or shiny etc lol

There are a few floating around the forums. It's got a left/right 3-band parametric EQ, 3-way xovers, time alingnment, independent speaker gains, phase control, and pretty much everything else you'd ever need.

You'd be hard pressed to find one under 200. The going rate for an 880 is $225-250.

I love my new p800prs. The 880 will give you tons of sound control. I've got the alpine 9855 in my truck and that's also a great unit if you're looking for something with a lot of control. I've got a 9853 that's got all the same sound settings as the 9855. Make me an offer if you want it.

Well seems i dont need a ton of sound settings. Just something to adjust my sub seperately from my door speakers. so that i can tune the bass out of the doors so they dont distort etc.

so you're looking for a hu that's got crossovers built in. i'd say the majority of new hu's on the market offer crossovers. the 9853 i've got has 2 way and 3 way crossovers. very flexible for almost any type of system.
