thumping nosie

I took my $15 offbrand CD player out and put a pioneer 6700 cd player in, and when i hook my RCA's for my subs up, my subs make a thumping nosie, but with the noname cd player it sounds fine, any Idea's

have heard that pioneer hu's have bad grounds on the rca's.....try running a short ground wire over and wrapping it around the exposed metal on the rca and see if that stops it
