i tryed to install another amp to my friends car what is wrong

ok so my friend he had subs going on a 2 channel amp with his stock speakers and he wanted the bass taken out of the stock speakers so he bought new door speakers so i said get another 2 channel amp and we can hook up 2 speakers to it for highs and the amp had a crossover so it takes out the bass of your new door speakers so we hooked it all up and we used an rca y cable dont know if that the problem but the problem is when the volume on his head unit is all the way off the 2 new speakers for the highs make this kind of buzzing sound it goes away when we turn the gain down on the amp that is powering them but then i highs arent strong enough so what is causing this problem if anyone has ever encountered this before

Check your ground. Its a piece of shit.

the rcas were running from the headunit to his 2 channel amp with the subs and i added a compacitor to power that amp and the new amp grounded everything out and powerd everything then used a y cable to make the rcas so they go to both amps and hooked up the new speakers for the highs to the new amp and its makes that werid noise i didnt do anything wrong whys it make that noise

so i should change the ground then it will be better just ground the amps to the car instead of grounding them to the capacitor
