ok, so heres the deal. i had an m450 put in at a shop back in the day, but upgraded to a m1005 and just rehooked it up. have it running an alpine 12 type x, and its consistantly hot. sub is at 2 ohms but i dont know if it is normal to be that hot. its gone into protection mode on me once already after about 1.5 hours of play maybe. dont think it could be hooked up wrong but maybe? what do you think
