I think it is battery time! SVR, Stinger, Kinetic, something else?

The shop I deal with said he can get me an SVR battery for my Civic. I guess he deals in them and likes those. I read here and the crowd seems to like the Kinetics. He knows about them and says they are expensive! He also said to stay away from yellow tops?

So I look over the 2400 Kinetics and it looks like three styles. Can someone explain?

I have a HC2000 for a starting battery and although I had to hack up my battery box, I love it!

I think he said the something about the internals of the yellow top.

So does a 2400 direct bolt-in exist for my 2001 Civic?

Also... Is it better to keep the factory battery up in the front and put the second in the back or replace the stocker? Shop guy said replace the stocker but I wanted to get a 2nd.

kinetik batteries have sizes 600,800,1400,1800,2000,2400

HC1400 Group 22, HC1800 Group 24, HC2000 Group 27, HC2400 Group 31

most imports can fit a 1400 pretty easily.

the battery has screw on terminals that come with it or you can use the terminal screws or even get the new posts that the top unscrews to add ring terminals too

I think they HC2400 is actually cheaper if u order from Millionbuy's website and not the ebay store.

Is the SVR a better piece? I think the price was around $150. I don't mind spending for the better product.
