No it really isnot....cigarettes do not really mess people up inhaling the smoke around you, well it puts tar in their lungs and all that shit, not going to debate that, but second hand weed smoke can still give you a high, you want to be sitting in a bowlingally, or chucky cheese smoking weed and getting a little 8 yr old kid high off the smoke?....

Drugs don't ruin lives, but drug addiction can possibly ruin lives. The question you have to ask is whether prohibition is doing a good job of stopping people's lives from being ruined, and the answer, based on evidence, is no. Legalization is the best way to address most of the problems surrounding drug trade.

You caught me, I meant to say something to get the idea through that TCH like effects can be found in poppy seeds but in a VERY small amount. Thats why it can show up on tests. I failed to summarize it well, you're right.

But where is your significant contribution to this thread? Kyle has been pulling your weight all the way through. Why don't you try to address the arguments of others like he does?

You are in denial...drugs ruin lives. Im not talking about 30 year olds here...im talking about kids in the age group of 10 to 16. Have you ever heard a 16 year old girl cry that she doesnt want to go home because all her mom cares about is pot? Have you ever heard a 15 year old boy talking about how he can't wait to turn 17 so he can move out because his dad is a pothead? I know parents who would rather get high then help their own fucking kids do their homework. theyd rather get high then go and get them in the middle of the night from their friends house when they're sick. I've seen it too many times, and i'm only 19. I don't know how it feels to have parents like that, but i can't even imagine it. Drugs and alcohol are not needed in life...they cause a lot of harm to a lot of innocent people...

So it is ok for people and even young teens to get their lives messed up with (legalized) alcohol? The largest killer of teens is automobile related accidents! One-third of these are alcohol related. Alcohol kills more than 75,000 people a year. Where drugs only account for less than 1% of total deaths in the U.S. Look how many people get hooded on prescription drugs, cigarettes, sniff glue and shit just to get high. Is this ok because they are all legalized products?

For every sad case of people who are irresponsible with drugs (whether it's alcohol or marijuana), there are ten cases of people being responsible.

You're still ignoring the important question, though: has prohibition done a good job of resolving these issues? Has prohibition helped lower drug use in any meaningful way? The answer is no.
