So i already had my flip down monitor installed and today i got a new amp and installed it in while removing the battery terminal to hook up the ground for the amp. I got couple of sparks on the initial contact before screwing it down. Went to go turn my flip down lcd and it wont come on. I think i short it out by blowing a fuse, but i dont remeber seeing any fuse in the lcd? Is my lcd dead or is there always a fuse some where internally?

You probably just blew a fuse. Is the monitor installed on a custom power line or did they splice into a cigarette lighter or something like that? If it's run off it's own line, and they didn't fuse it, you might just be screwed, otherwise it's just a matter of finding which fuse blew.
