I only havae 450W. What would you guys recommend?

I have 450w to power my sub stage. I know its not a lot but I'm sticking with the amp I already have. I have a lot of space available, so space probably won't be an issue. Needs to be dual 4 or dual 1 or single 2 if there is such a thing lol. I listen to a wide variety of music as well. Also if at all possible I would like to keep it on the cheaper side at the moment. What sub would you guys choose?

Memphis Power Reference. Two of em in SVC 4 ohm configuration and you'll be pretty happy.

And they cost less than $100 BNIB

you only want to run 1 sub? what amp are you using?

there are single 2 ohm subs out there. i actually have a pair of cadence subs that are. they just arent very common.

Im running an autotek sx900.4 the front two channels are running my mids/highs and the rear 2 channels will bridge down to 2ohms for 450w.

It doesn't have to be a single sub setup, I just figured that would work the best with the little bit of power I have.

As far as how cheap I'm thinking $150 or less.

Don't let that fool you. A good sub and more importantly a well built enclosure can make that 450W go a long way. I got 500 going to my 13W6 and it does very well given the power level and number of subs.
