hi!
i decided to run my diamond audio hex speakers with a active crossover (rockford 3sity.2) right now i set the 6.5 hex speakers with a band pass setting of 50hz to 220hz with a 175wrms @ 4ohms x 2 amp. then i am running the 4 inch speaker and tweeter on a separate channel with a separate amp (75wrms x 2) but still using the passive crossover and set it at 75hz. over all they sound pretty good.
but what i am asking now is what is the optimal setting for the 6.5 hex speakers? can it go up from 50hz to 300hz or 400hz? and should i set the 4 inch higher? like maybe 90hz? what is the best setting for this?
thanks!
