I need your advice/tips

Hey everyone, I've got questions I need answers to...

1. what difference is there between a wide sub box(sealed) and a narrow more deeper(sealed) sub box?

2.Is it a must to have a amp with a subsonic filter for a ported box? I have a cvr and the lowest Hz it can play in its range is 25hz, could I just port the box to 25/26hz? What will the peak Hz be if it should be tuned that low?

1 no difference on the sealed box

2. the box frequency is depending on the subwoofer, I am running skar and have my box tuned to 32hz, goind down to 20's is I think too low.

subsonic filter keeps the amp from playing too low of hz, if your sub amp does not have subsonic and only has LPF and if you set your LPF to say 80yz the amp will play all herts from 80hz and below, it will play 20's hz which sometimes can be damaging to the subwoofer.

you can still use the amp just remember when you play those super low frequency mostly on those decaf slowed songs

I have a subsonic filter but it plays much better with the filter switched off
