I'm about to get a single 15'' L7 ported to 33hz for now and I was thinking if it's not loud enough I might want a second one later on but I can only fit 2 if they are sealed so would the 2 sealed really make that much of a difference over the one ported and would it be worth the extra money for another box and possibly battery? Or should I just stick with the one and epicenter it? This will be a dialy setup.

BTW the single ported would get more than it's rms wattage but the 2 sealed would get less than their rms wattage.

My bet is that the single 15 ported would have more output.

I would stick with the one driver ported. 2 sealed would be comparable in output, depending on the install. And one L7 should be loud enough for you. Unless your a SPL head.

^ yep, single 15 ported has the potential to get louder. make sure you build the box good and get someone to double check the box design.

if a ported 15" L7 isnt loud enough for you, then you gotta get your hearing checked. those subs are nasty monsters.
