Great forum guys now i need your help.

1)I have a 2006 volvo 670 semi truck that am trying to hook up with some bass. The this truck has four batteries that are located underneath the truck.

( close to the driver side step) How do get power into the cab without drilling.

2)Does anyone in the Baltimore,MD do installations for 18 wheelers? Is there a website that offers any help?

This is a not a pick up truck. This truck has a sleeper with plenty of space for decent subwoofer.

Thanks

i have helped with a few internation eagles, a couple pairs of p2 10's inder the bed run the power from your fuse panel it has big enough power wire from the factory to support it. youll probably have to remove alot of panneling to hide stuff.

No.

Check for graumets or however you spell it on your firewall and see if you can slip some 4g through there somewhere, thats fused.

Volvos are the cadillac of trucks. They are designed to ride, feel and turn like a small car. You`ll be surprised how quite they are. Its get pretty boring driving all day. The factory radio is just junk. I need some bass asap before i head you.

If you have a storage unit underneath your bed, what we have done in the past is everything from one bazooka 10", to 4 12" subs in a sealed enclosure. It really depends on how much sound your looking for. There are no grommets that I can think of, last truck we had in our shop we had to create our own holes and install grommets. Changing radio's, if you plan on doing that is pretty easy as well. If you need help send me some pics of your rig, and I will try to point you in the right direction.

I was planning on putting a 12` sub in there coz I just want to keep it simple. I have plenty of boom my suv. If i don't have to hook the amp directly to the batteries then it should be relatively easy. I think that the truck has plenty of juice to power the amp.

Screw having sleeping quarters, use that space to wall that bish off, and when your ready to go to bed, crawl into the port.
LOL that would be so kick ***.

Have like a bunk bed set up. A BIG *** port on the top with several subs under it. Have a blow up mattress ready to put in the port when its time to sleep. When your ready to drive and wake everyone else up...take the mattress out and blast them subs until your 100% deaf. That would be like...beyond...yea...I think I just creamed myself thinking about it. I might be a trucker now...
