I need to find a 160ampHO alternator..help

ive been tryin to find some deals online but people are all tryin to sell me 250 amp alt. for like 499.. sorry but F-that i only need 160 and im lookin to spend rite around 200..can anyone hook me up with someone that i can just send a email to and actually find what im looking for ?? THNX

I was looking at getting that amp aswell, I was not aware you needed to up grade alternator for that amp?!? Have you tried to run it on stock alt. yet?

I have an Ohio Generators 160 off my Xtreme Blazer I'd sell close to that...Its a very high quality alternator and cost over $400 new......its an 01 with a 4.3 so it might work.....

Pretty sure our factory plug ins wouldnt be the same, and the brackets wouldnt either...

Yea pretty sure you need to upgrade the alternator for something that big right ?

Well I have ran 2 1000rms watts amps on a stock alternator, for well over 2 years. Thats from personal experence no b/s. That 2200 amp is not much bigger.

If he wants to do it right then he should upgrade. It's not necessary but voltage drop would be obscene and I don't think his equipment would last as long as it could on stock electrical.

And i bump everyday, so i want something thats going to keep poundin hard while im driving down the road, i dont want to be crusin and have my car die out:crying:
