I need to create a system restore disk for Vista...

My dad is on my back about creating a backup disk in case my new laptop suddenly fails and I loose everything. What kind of disk should I use? I can't even find the program on my computer where it lets me do this. Seems like the only thing I can find is something to backup and restore folders and files, but I specifically need to make a disk with the OS... So what's a good way to go about this?

Personally, I'd use this one:

WINXP%20Pro%20Booklet%20cvr%20w_CD.jpg

But if your laptop is an HP/Compaq, there is a restore partition accessible by pressing F11 on bootup, and it has the capability to create restore discs.

i like that one cybe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

also you dont need a restore disk, there are plenty of ways of reviving it without a disk
