I put my HD315's up for sale/trade but got a lot of "why"... So i thought i would start a topic...

I have an MM4000.1D and a pair of HD3 15"s (2ohm DVC) this is the box that was designed fo rme by an ROE member...

Rear facing subs/port, This is the biggest i could get to fit in my car which it does HOWEVER it blocks pretty much any sound from getting into the cabin. I turned it to front/front but it still didn;t sound anythign like i would expect for the subs/amp.

My "plan" is to just get a single 18"+ that can handle 4000W rms @ 2ohm from the MM4000.1D but i am not sure. I am being told the box is still TOO small (10.88ft^3) for the subs and i should just run one of them. However if i am going to run a single sub i want to run an 18" or bigger so... Only thing i could think of is build the same box with the subs facing back and the port forward, firing into the cabin (middle of seat back opens into the trunk)

What would you suggest i do? Or rather what would YOU do?

any pics... Or how would i go about this? I jus replaced all my shit, Eclipse speakers all around, 6X9 in the stock location, and a pair of 4" and 5.25" in the doors. 6X9's pushed by an Orion 3002 fronts by a Lightning S4.300...

just take out the 6x9"s
I paid over $400 for the speakers/amp and they sound FANTASTIC!! taking them out isn't an option...

and googl'd apparently "venting" my rear deck means cutting big frikkin holes in it... I dunno... I removed the huge sheild that is in the trunk against the back of the seat which helped. Then i removed the sound deadener and leather that covers the hole when the arm rest is down and when that is open it make QUITE the difference...
