I need some quick help.

My new amp just came in. It is a hifonics 2008d 2000w amp. Well it is supposed to be a mono amp, but it has 4 speaker outputs? 2 + 2 - I am confused. My previous monoblock amp only had 2 speaker outputs one + one - so how should I hook this amp up.

The subs are dual voice coils 1ohm each. And I want the amp to be at 1 ohm.

here is a diagram on how to wire it.

i think you use the + from the 1st channel and the - from the second channel.

Its not working. Does anyone else have this amp? How did you wire it up?

wire the subs in series/ parallel as shown in the link above and use one set of outputs from the amp.

you want each sub to be wired like that. a 2 ohm load. the amp is a monoblock but they made it to where ppl can use 2 subs to it as most will do. with each sub being wired two ohms when u connect the subs to the amp it'll see a one ohm load.
