yes, if you wire pair of subs in series it will sound like shit , because you are adding them together.4 ohms + 4 ohms = 8 ohms: if you put this on an amp that puts out say 600watts rms @ 4 ohms, then that would mean that the 8 ohms load would be 300 watts rms @ 8 ohms. do you understand that math and logic? the lower the resitsance the higher the power There is a formula for this and its called ohms law. and kirkhofs voltege law. look it up if you want to know more about wiring.you can run a series set up, but not alone, unless you have two 2 ohm subs, but most of the time it requires a paralle series combo.

Naw man, that posting is 6 years old. That used to be my loggin back then. Thanks though. I got some Soundstream T-5 12's. That six years, I have had about 5 different pairs of subs during that time.
