good news. the HU works again. just another fuse blown in the fuse box. replaced and HU works.

now my sub ain't gettin power. the amp is powering up and all, but i get no bass. what could be wrong now??

ok so i am getting output voltage, but no sound.

could my pre-amps have anything to do with it?

how do i test those with a dmm?

also the sub reads ~3ohms at the terminal cup on the box. the amp powers up, but i noticed as i had the probes in the speaker terminals, the protection light kept flickering and making a barely noticeable noise. now it faintly lights up (like the glow from the power light is illuminating it on the inside). did i messs something up? i really don't wanna take this to a shop and have them fuk up anything.

can't be. it turns on, powers up, outputs voltage, just no sound. i'm thinking it's the pre-amps.

and i don't have a portable music player, besides a cd player with no batteries..

i KNOW there's a way to measure the pre-outs voltage using a dmm. i just wanna kno how.

Shit happens sir. It might be something small that you are missing. Call IA and they might be able to tell you right away what it is.

may have had something to do with my finger accidentally touching the other set of rca jacks by accident.

I think I remember seeing another thread about the RCA's on those amps, and they are fairly easy to replace. I may be wrong, but I would definately be ont he phone with IA to see what they can do.
