I need some help choosing rear speakers

I have a 2000 Volvo S40 with a SONY CDX-GT440U CD player. I am replacing the front door speakers with Kicker KS525 5.25" Coaxs and the dash speakers with Kicker KS35 3.5" Coaxs. I haven't made any decisions about the rears and may just leave the factory 5.25" speakers there. I listen to a lot of oldies at moderate volume. I don't prefer bass that you can feel vibrating the car. I know some people have replaced the rear deck speakers with 6.5 inch coaxs but I'm not sure the difference between the 5.25 and 6.5" kickers is worth having to change the size. Are there any better options? Maybe 6.5 inch subwoofers or? I am not going to add any amps and I won't add an enclosure for the rears. What do you think?

forget about the kickers! They **** and for the money there are much better options out there.

•Front: 3-1/2", 5-1/4"

•Rear: 6-1/2"

•Dash: 3-1/2"

•Front door: 5-1/4"

•Rear deck: 6-1/2"

Try these:Boston Acoustics S55 (S-55) 5-1/4" 2-way S Coaxial Car Speakers

Boston Acoustics S35 S Series 3-1/2" 2-way Speakers (S-35)

Boston Acoustics S65 S Series 6-1/2" 2-way Speakers (S-65)

These will sound 10 times better than those kickers and you won't need a amp.

I wouldn't say they su ck. They sound decent for what they are. A budget would help us give better suggestions.

My budget is under $75 for the pair. And I already have bought the Kickers so I only need advice about the rears. I see several low price 6.5 inch subwoofers at Parts Express but I don't know if they would work without building enclosures. If I want to just put them in the rear deck should I go with coaxials? Is it even worth replacing the OEM speakers since its just the rears?
