Let me start by saying I am some what lost with what to do to get the optimal configuration with the equpiment I have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . I'll list it off to give some insight.
Bass:
2 Alpine Type R, SWR-1222D
Source:
DEH-P500UB
Front Stage:
DOTECH OVATION 6"
Amps:
MRP-M1000 (Powering 2 Subs)
D3 500.4 - 500 Watt Four-Channel Amplifier (Powering Front Stage)
Now the thing I need options on is my front stage sound. I'm not to sure on the process of how to correctly bridge my amp, or to decide to run with the crossovers provided or use my amps crossover.
I have read around and it mentions if I bridge my amp I will only get a mono sound but there are ways around it by using "Y Splitters". As of right now I am only running out of the front inputs of my amp and not getting full wattage to my speakers.
And yes I am only running front stage at this time. No rear fill.
Can anyone explain to me what would be the best options for setting up my front stage? I can get pics if anyone needs to see in more detail.
- Thanks
