I need some clarification.

Being a mod has little to do with how much knowledge one has about a given subject. Being a mod has everything to do with how active you are on the forum, how well you are at interpreting the rules, and how willing you are to enforce the rules of said forum.

AND not having enemies, or grudges with anyone on the forums. and not starting stupid fights, or personally attacking people..

IMO you should bring someone who isnt a member on the forum and have him be a mod.

I totally agree. but making someone mod who knows nothing about car audio (this is a car audio site) is just opening the door for mayhem.. this sites already got mod fever and no one even said anything about having new ones.. lol

A guy asked for a $400 setup & you told him to buy $460 worth of subs/amp & that he could built a box for $25......

The guy had $500 & wanted subs/amps, and I pointed him towards fantastic equipment. You, on the other hand, pointed him towards garbage. And NOWHERE in that thread did I say you could build an enclosure for $25 (this is yet another example of your ignorance). You're one of those "do the big 3 in 1/0 and you'll be fine" kinda guys, bob. It's what you've read over and over and it's all you know to say. I have knowledge based on nearly two decades of hands on experience. You're a child and I'm a man. It's as simple as that.

You simply don't know what you're talking about half the time, bob, and that's why I have a problem with you. I'm old school like that. I come from a time & place where people keep their mouth shut when they're out of their element.

If you show no favoritism why would you change my name to bob for mod? why would you ask me to take his name out of my sig when tons of members have other names in them? why just bob? coincidence? YOu have not said one good word about any other person helping out or giving good info or being just a general awesome person to have here but we need 100 bobs. seems an awful lot like favoritism to me and many other people on here. im done talking about it. everyone on this site knows how it is and obviously its not changing. ill just adapt or find another site

I agree, but you should also have a higher standard for how they act and what they post. bob fails in the ability to act civilized in many of his posts and attracts the type of attention he gets.

I for one would have no respect for him and would more then likely tell him to take it some were else(have another mod contact me if needed) if he attempted to discuss any issues with me regardless of its validity.

this. i dont claim to be all knowing but if someone asks a question where i have had the same delimma or equipment i have personally installed and run i will give my 2 cents and tell them take it for what its worth.. bob posts what he has read that someone else has done assuming its 100% correct when he doesnt know if its fact or fiction
