I'm told it's a nice amp, it's a limited edition Onyx that was beefed up by PG. Is it worth 550 USD refurbished?

I have the regualr 1200, someone had a link to one a while ago but I dont have time to look right now. I wish I knew they made those in onyx before buying the regular one b/c my car is black. They are sexy but $550 is rather high for a xenon even if it is beefed up. You can always paint the silver one, but thats prob. a pain in the ***.

If its authorized with warranty then its worth it. I wonder what the birth sheet says for it..i dont think there are many 1200.1 onyx around. If i was after a sub amp and had the $ i would buy it.

Well if ya got the cash to dish out then I agree as well, just curious how many watts that amp would put out for $550. The email I got back from Pheonix Gold was this:

The Xenon X1200.1 usually show ~1300 watts RMS on their birthsheets. The Xenon Onyx 1200.1 was a very limited release and is black instead of brushed aluminum, they also went through excessive testing before being chosen for the LE status and they then received a few minor board alterations and typically show ~10-15% increase in output over an average Xenon. Also the Onyx was not technically released within the US.
