I Need Help

I'm kind of a big deal...
Ok, heres my situation. I have an L7 15 (2004 model if it matters) Im running it at 1 ohm to an ED Nine.1 with about 12-1400 wrms. My enclosure is about 4.5 cubic feet at 28 hz. The thing is, I wanna get louder...So do I get a new enclosure thats bigger? Get a new enclosure and tune it higher (35hz ish). Both? Help me out here...And one more question. Is there a difference in sub output if its reversed?

How much higher?
I wouldn't do more than 35hz for daily driving. Im not sure if your going to notice and big noticeable difference tunning from 28hz to 35hz. I would say you would notice a difference changing from sealed to ported but your already ported.

Alright, one more thing...Hypothetically, you have an L7 ported with 3.6cubic feet, then you switch up to 4.5 cubic feet, with the same wrms, system, tuning and all. is there going to be a big difference?

If anything the bass may sound a little deeper besides that no....Big boxes make up for less wattage. For example if some one has an L7 with 1200rms going to it in a sealed box and you have a L7 with 900rms going to it in a 4.0cubic ft ported box it will be louder than the sealed one.

There's a significant difference tuning from 35Hz to 28Hz...a lower tuning will provide a flatter response curve and not have as sharp of a rolloff in the lower octave. The tradeoff is lower overall SPL.

He will have more SPL I know that for sure but will it be noticeable?
