If grounding yourself to amp and chassis works then you need better ground. Check that theres no paint at your ground connection on chassis for amp so its a clean connection. Check that ground is tight on both ends and make sure your ground cable is also big enough. At least 4 gauge prolly

i got a 97 bondiville its at the back of the trunk my ground the seat side not the very back of the car

It would be easier if you just took a picture.. Myself and plenty others seem to all think you have a bad ground.. Don't you think its weird that when you use yourself as a ground it works right? lol

Just because you moved it alot of places doesn't mean you moved it to proper places.. Do you have a cell phone or camera that you can just snag a quick picture of your ground with? Would make this alot simpler.
