i need Help plz

i have a kicker zr1000 and L7 subs and when i tap on the box the sub goes in and out and i cant turn the amp up all the way or it makes the sub go in and out really fast i mean i cant even turn it even close to half way it fine when the amps all the way down the only way i can turn the amp all the way up is if i had my had on the amp and my hand is touching the metal on the car can some one plz help me

not sure if i even quite understood that but im gonna give it an attempt.

sounds as if youre clipping. do you have the amps gain cranked up? because it will cause this. and if im not mistaken, that amp is a class A/B amp, so you should probably run a crossover with that, which, if used correctly, should cure that up and give you the right power youre looking for. it doesnt exactly give you more power, but it lets you control your sound, which is what you need with a class a/b amp that youre trying to power a sub or subs with.

i have a cross over in the amp

and when i tap the sub box the sub moves in and out when i tap on the box with my hand

the gain is all the way down when i try to to up make a **** up sound and sub goes and and out really fast

when i hold the amp with my had on the top of the amp and if it touch the car while holding the amp i can turn up the amp if not i cant turn up the amp

this a little better ?

Lol not exactly... I think you need to breathe a little and concentrate more on making sure that you're typing the words that you want to than the speed of your post. Seems to me that you want help NOW so you're typing as fast as you possibly can and not proofreading.. Not trying to be mean but your posts aren't making a whole lot of sense as it is, and you saying things like "I try to to up make a **** up sound" doesn't make it any better...

Take the subs out and double check your wiring,if that doesn't work it may be a ground issue with your rca's. Also make sure you are not at a 180 degree phase on your head unit.

i tooked subs out and i redone them new better wire and i redone the grounds and i hook up the ground that are with the rca i did all that 3 days ago but what u mean about 180 degree phase on your head unit. ? i have a Jvc kd1000 or something like that

since its a physical change start there,I,E tapping the box causes it also.is the amp screwed to the box,, could be a broken solder joint at the rca imputs or maybe even a lose wire at the amps power,ground and speaker terminals

i check in the amp did not see anything bad really but i do have it screwed on the box and when i tap the rca's it does not do the noise but i could not see the bottom of the bored i did not take it all the way apart to see the ground power and remote side
