Someone please help me out i need to know what u think of this amp Jensen XA 3022Lx Bridgeable Amplifier
What's wrong with going under 4 ohms? I just bought a dual voice coil 4 ohm speaker that I planned on using this amp with and it's 2 ohm.So long as it is not ran below 4 ohms, you should not have many problems.
While Jensen normally has been Entry-Level/Affordable, thier quality has been dramatically increasing recently.
I would say it is definately a good bang for the buck amp.
take it easy,

I already have the amp and bought the speaker thinking it is stable at 2ohm. Can I keep the bass boost down and the levels in the middle somewhere and keep it alive? I don't really have the money to go get an amp.. but maybe in a few weeks. Just don't want to blow this amp up.. it worked well in my old car on 2 speakers!!I think he is bidding on it with Ebay and wants to know if it is worth the money.
Why would they put the bass boost knob on the amps then? It is my understanding that it is better to keep the gains a little lower and adjust the b.b. up as needed to avoid clipping issues. You aren't supposed to use bass boost on a sub, just set the lpf for around 75-90 hz and turn the gains up until it gets loud enough for you.
