So long as it is not ran below 4 ohms, you should not have many problems.

While Jensen normally has been Entry-Level/Affordable, thier quality has been dramatically increasing recently.

I would say it is definately a good bang for the buck amp.

What's wrong with going under 4 ohms? I just bought a dual voice coil 4 ohm speaker that I planned on using this amp with and it's 2 ohm.

The amp will not push it very well. It may push it, but it may burn up sooner than you like. I do not like Jensen, but it is your choice. They say they are 2 Ohm stable, but I would not believe them.

I already have the amp and bought the speaker thinking it is stable at 2ohm. Can I keep the bass boost down and the levels in the middle somewhere and keep it alive? I don't really have the money to go get an amp.. but maybe in a few weeks. Just don't want to blow this amp up.. it worked well in my old car on 2 speakers!!

You aren't supposed to use bass boost on a sub, just set the lpf for around 75-90 hz and turn the gains up until it gets loud enough for you.

Why would they put the bass boost knob on the amps then? It is my understanding that it is better to keep the gains a little lower and adjust the b.b. up as needed to avoid clipping issues.
