I need help hitting low note with jl audio w6v2 12

i was wanting to sell these subs an go with 2 w7 12 because i though the w6 want hit that low note i dont know my amp setting but it was setup by a shop here. i know jl spec are sealed volume 1.2 cubic foot

ported volum 2.0 cubic foot

port opening 40 square inches port length 9.75 inchesi dont know whats that tune to but thats what they reccomend for 2 w6 12v2

your stereo could have a rear/subwoofer switch and it could be on rear then the amp would be getting higher freqs........also look at the lpf on the amp and try turning it to the lowest freq and see if this helps i run my fosgates at 35 htz but not all amps are the same.

and make sure your amp is on the lpf setting not ap or hpf.

sending pic to ur email
I got the email but I won't have time to check it out until tomorrow. I will get back with you then.

If you can check your settings on the amp as well. If your not sure get some pics of those and we will get you straightened out.

**edit**

Actually I just looked at the pics and I'm going to need a good bit more info on the enclosure so we can figure out if that is even the problem as it very well may not be.

I will email you in the morning with some questions and such on the situation.

I had a few people PM me asking why I needed/wanted more info on this situation. Well here are the pics and then you will know why lol.

Looks like a small 4th order enclosure and I sent an email asking if I could get more measurements so we can figure out what was built and how to fix the issue.

OP- If you have not messed with the amp yet, could you get some pics of how the settings are adjusted on it? Assuming the enclosure is decently designed I'm betting that may be your issue.

That box looks no different in size than a standard dual 12 pre-fab, which never hit the low lows.
The enclosure is just over 5ft3 gross so it is much larger then a prefab enclosure. Just designed/built wrong for what the OP wanted. The OP has something big in the works though.
