Hello, i just recently bought a '89 s-10 blazer two door that has a huge box in it with 8 fosgate p1 12's in it. i know they are a low line sub but i am thinkin of making the best out of them. the box they are currently in, is sealed and i know that is going to limit the output of the subs. I have yet to get them on a meter but i am almost sure they will not do what they are capable of doing. what i am interested in doing is putting them in a wall right behind the b pillar and portin them. i am limited on my box calculation skills and are needing help coming up with a general idea of how to go about building this box. could anyone give me a hint on how big i should make the box, cu ft. wise. I would greatly appreciate it.

I also noticed that the recommended vented enclosure from fosgate is 1.79 cu. ft apiece tuned at 36 hz. I am making this into an spl only rig so i know it needs to be tuned way higher. these cheap subs like highs anyways.. any low note kills them. I have no clue what the resonate frequency of my blazer is so i know that is gonna make things a little harder so anyone that can help please do so.

x2 , 16 ft^3 at 45hz , you might want to try and make the port removable so you can try different tunning options and such //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
