ok i have a couple options here and im liooking for tight accurate bass with ablity to get pretty loud... but not loud whjere it drowns out the front stage. I have a 9.1 to work with.

Si mag 12 ported 1.8 tuned to 32 hz......... good thing about abuot this option i already have the box and it will cost me 400

SI mag 15 450+80 bucks for sealed 3 cube box

Or TC 3000 for 425+80 bux for the box.

Ive owned almost every sub with very little happiness. w7's xxx to boomy. IDmax was quick accurate and tight but i wanted somethign alittle louder. Same with the rlp it was alittle louder.

I had an uberwoofer which is sorta like the 3000 i would think. Only sub i havent tried i think is the SI mag

hrm i dunno it seemed like to much of a low end monster. It over powered the upper bass it was supposed to play. But out of all the subs that was 1 of my favs

i only have 3 cubes to work with in my hatchback mutang i shuold add that
You never told me you had a mustang:eek:

The 12 would work really well with that amount of space, and it in hatch it will get VERY loud. So I would just go with that. Even though I am porting a pair of 15's in mine:naughty:

It seems as if you need to work on improving installation before you work on improving equiptment. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I may be lil bias, but the MAG is a better sub than the TC's. TC makes great subs, but IMO the quality and output doesnt compare to the MAG. Im 99% sure you would love the MAG, and wont want another sub period.

I am a Mag owner and love the shit out of it. easily one of the best woofers I have every used or heard.

and going from your original post I think you would be happy with a Mag. I would go for the 15 if you can, deeper, a little louder than the 12 and very accurate. SQ is top notch on the mag while still having the capability to get very loud.

If you didnt like the RL-p, the mag *may* not going to give you much beyond that if any (very similar performance and motor design, check the dimensions and T/S for yourself). You should step up to 4" voice coil.

just to name a few..

fyi.. the current mag design.. is completely different then the TC9 based product you guys built for him a couple years back.. and from testing I've done.. performs much better too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you make good products.. you don't have to bend information around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

*edit.. just dug up my data on the old TC sounds Magnums... and that data isn't close to the RL-P either..
