i need door speakers

I was thinking about getting an aftermarket speaker from parts express but I figured maybe it won't sound good in tandem with a other OEM infinity door speaker in the car.

So now I'm looking to get a pair brand new. I need 5 1/4's that can take care of mid bass down to 150hz clean.

I'm going to order some stuff from sonics soon and I might as well buy some speakers. I'm figuring are these enough?

Kenwood KFC-1354S (KFC1354S) 5-1/4" Sport Coaxial Car Speakers

for $30 they don't seem bad. I know they are NOT high end and can't handle too much power but can i expect decent output with these? Or am I better off with something else?

I can't dive into component speakers because I'm using the OEM factory infinity amp and rewiring everything is going to **** me off. I just want to plug and play. Ever since I lost that driver side door speaker, mid range hasn't sounded the same..........

part of the reason why I brought up those kenwoods is because of that whizzer cone. There is no gap or "hole" in the woofer because of the little tweeter's pole structure that may cause cancellation.

....so I've been told......I don't know 100% if that's true.

marketing. ignore it.

The "whizzer cone" in those $30 Kenwoods is likely equal to the BS you see in a lot of cheap factory systems these days.

these are so fucking stupid.......lol

Boss SK552 Phantom Skull Series 5-1/4" 2-Way Full Range Speakers

Further more, I hate chrysler/dodge. They never standardize on anything. The cut out diameter on the door is 5 inches. From one mounting bracket to the other is like 6.5 inches. It's pretty much designed for 6.5in speakers but the stock infiniti's are 5 1/4in because the space around the speaker hole is too small and won't allow a 6.5in speaker to sit correctly. On the other hand, I don't know if aftermarket 5 1/4in speakers will sit correctly because the cut out diameters on those speakers are too small. They won't be sealed tight against the door panel.
