I just amped my boston sx-85's (5x7's) and I'm not happy with the midbass. I was thinking of getting 6 x 9 to 6.5 adapter plates. The mounting diameter can't be more than 5.25". And I don't want to spend more than $130 per pair. My amp is a cerwin vega exl-400.4 (60 watts at 4 ohms). I found a few that look okay. Any input would be appreciated.
