my ratio is at 2.3XX and i have around 130 gigs down i think.OiNK is the hardest site to maintain ratio on, but is also the best music tracker out there by leaps and bounds. Demonoid has NOTHING on OiNK, as far as music is concerned.
An example of how hard it is to maintain ratio on OiNK, here some stats from two of the many trackers I am on (yes, my e-penis is mighty!):
TorrentLeech: 400GB up / 70GB down
TheDVDClub: 700GB up / 90GB down
BitMe: 400GB up / 70GB down
OiNK: 97GB up / 65GB down
I would have way more downloaded on OiNK (over 3000 bookmarks) if I could afford the ratio to do so.
I've got a 100mbps server that I use. Those ratios are from roughly 5-6 months of activity.my ratio is at 2.3XX and i have around 130 gigs down i think.
What connection do you have? Thats one hell of an up stream, congrats.
Another good way to build your ratio is to download the 'hottest' hiphop albums etc. Those are always in demand, programs like trillian and winamp are always wanted too. I have about 800 torrents from oink registered in the utorrent right now (i had to refresh =[ ) so generally there is always something going.I've got a 100mbps server that I use. As for why OiNK is so hard, I don't think it's because not enough people download things; rather, it's the opposite. If you're one of the first 10 people on OiNK to download an album, you'll have no problem seeding it back. However, if you get to it after the swarm has started and/or finished downloading, you'll be hard pressed to make that ratio back. OiNK really rewards the people who upload original content, and that is really the easiest way to build your ratio.
