i need an amp

I need an amp that will power my two 12" subs. So i need a 2 channel amp that will do over 500 Watts rms at 4 ohms. Any suggestions?

Okay first off you need a 1 channel (mono) amp. 2 channels are best used for mids and highs(if used at all). Now then, we need some information on the subs. What brand and model? What RMS handling? What voice coil? What is your price range for the amp?

2ch amps are fine for substage duty if the output @ whatever resistance load that it provides is appropriate for your needs.

But what subs you are using and the voice coil configuration of each is a worthy question...

His best choice, with the widest selection would be a channel amplifier bridged.

You can get a Rockford Fosgate P5002, it will do about ~600 WRMS into a 4 ohm load. They're decently priced.
