I need a sub for a JL 500/1

Hey guys, well I blew my brand new JL 10w7, and also the people who made the boxed screwed it all up so I got all the money back from that, I have a JL500/1v2 and am in need of a new sub. I was going to buy JL again, but is there anything louder than that 10w7 that I could buy that does well with only 500-600 watts?

I have 2 JL 12w3v2's in a Prowedge box... They hit **** hard and work well with the 500/1

I have all the room in the world I have a tahoe, so anything will work, I dont care what size the sub is, it just has to sound as good as and hit harder than the 10w7, and I dont really care about the price either anything goes.

But it has to run off the 500/1v2, but I am pretty sure that amp is more powerful than 500 watts

I'd look into an IDQ 15. Below 600-700W it has more output than an IDMAX 12. They are well known for great SQ, too.

they won't out bump a w7, but they hit hard. Sorry, didn't mean to thread crap, just trying to sell em.

I'm dying to know what you end up getting, I read alot on here about these RE subs, and all these subs i never heard of, people seem to love em. Will do, don't get my wrong the w7 slammed in my truck and the box it was in just hammered out the lows, it sounded great for 6 days until she went bye bye. I am looking for some more bump, a little less SQ is ok, just some great SPL with 500 watts

You should find out why your 10W7 blew to try to prevent it from happening again with whatever you end up with. Is your signal clipped?

No it's not clipped, I wen to a local audio who is a JL dealer and they say my box blew it. My box was only 1.1 cubic feet not 1.5 which is where it is supposed to be, and they did my install.

2 12" fi x d4's. they'll have a shit load more cone are than a 10 w7, and send 250 a piece and i guarantee itll sound louder and just as nice as a w7.

bnib. im unable to use seeing how i have 2 sax 100.2 amps and when bridged they have a 4 ohm final load i need d2 subs. =[
