I need a simple box design For a DD9510G ; )

The car is a 2006 Honda Civic Sedan (trunk car). The ported box will be pushed all the way back towards the rear seats, so that i still have some room in the trunk. Im leaning more towards SQL and the 9510g will have about 1500RMS to work with. Im thinking sub/port facing the trunk. The only reason I'm not going with DD's recommended box plans is because of their dimensions.

Outside Dimensions have to be :

(Height)12.5"

(Width) 36.5" (each side of the box will have a .75" overhang, for carpeting the box. Then Side panels will be glued to each side of the box to make it pretty when carpeting.) FINAL WIDTH 38"

(Depth) Whatever gives you the correct Cubic FT

Just curious as to why a .75" recessed area for carpeting? A .25" is more then enough to make hiding seems easier if you don't know how to hide seems.

.25" would be fine : ) im just an idiot and was half asleep when I typed that !!! haha The box just has to have a final 38"W with the recessed area ...

lol, some people like larger recessed areas for some reason. I find it is just a bit of a waste of room most of the time.

If you have mobile doing up a design it should do well for you.
