I got that head unit just got it about a month ago performs fine. Im about to replace it though. Going go with an Eclipse. I would sell mine for $110 plus shipping if you intrested

Probably, I would have bought it if the HD radio tuner was a little cheaper.

Yeah that looks like it'll suit you fine. It has a 7band EQ...which it pretty nice, and it also has HD radio built it. Even some of the VERY expensive players only have that as an add on unit. The preamp voltage is 2-2.5, which is a little low, but thats alright if you're not using it to run huge amps or anything. Be sure to get the Aux Input line, to run an MP3 player. Looks like JVC still doesn't like to put a dedicated aux in.

Kinda hard to sell my older model at $100 shipped when this can be had for ~$35 more or so. It has features mine doesn't like HD radio, mp3 playback, the 7 band vs. 3 band EQ, and a better S/N ratio.

I wonder if it has better sound customization options like a HPF or LPF, or individual gains for front and rear?

Well just wanted to let you know I got my JVC head unit and I love it! HD radio is great. FM really is CD quality and it tells you what song is playing on the head unit. Pretty nice!
