Some of you people fail to realize that driving in NY is nothing like driving in the backwoods of Louisiana...there's no such thing as a PASSING LANE. It's a fast lane. We were in steady traffic. Cars were going same speeds in both lanes. No reason to ride up someone's *** WHEN THERE'S NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will have to agree with you there, back in philly both lanes were the slow lane. It's pretty much from 6am to 6pm, too many people and not enough roads:crap: And I had to be on the road for work everyday in that shit. And if there's nowhere to go then that's a different story, they can wait.

it doesn't matter how fast you are going and how fast everyone else is going...it's the fast lane

if a car is going faster than you...then you should be to the right of them, brake checking a car thats on your *** is fine with me...if i drove a shitty car i'd do it all the time, but not when someone is trying to pass you on the left and you won't let them for 10 mins...thats good way to get shot by depressed johnny on his way to work

yeah i hate it when I get stuck on a 2-lane road with a ******* doin 45 when the speed limit's 55, and there's constant traffic in the other lane. when I get a passing lane, I usually get up to 85 lol.

This thread is funny to me because where I live now the people do everything that people described in this thread. Drive's me f-in nuts. I was starting to think that maybe it was just me that noticed these things. It's glad to see that I'm not the only one that notices this.

that kills me...they wait till they get on to speed up...

once i was behind this guy(yeah i know it was fun typing that:up2somet, i was late for work and pissed off at something...can't remember. The guy's going like 30 at first then when he finally hit the interstate he was doing around 40-45. theres no where for him to go because he's not going fast enough and there's a lot of traffic so a pull up beside him in the e-lane and start cussing him out so hard...i was so pissed i almost got out of my car, which thankfully i didn't

Technicaly in MN, both lanes are the same thing. The speed limit is the same in both lanes, so if you are driving exactly the speed limit in the left lane, you are completely legal and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The right lane is for slower traffic, ie vehicles under the speed limit.
