I love it when I'm in the fast lane doing 10 over, and I still have a jackass riding my bumper. x-eleventy billion on NJ and FL drivers FTL! I've had NJ drivers, on MANY occasions, tailgate like a SOB when I'm in the RIGHT lane!! They have the whole left lane to pass, but they love to tailgate in the right?? I guess I'm getting old and frugal because when I drive the highway I stay in the right lane with the cruise set at the speed limit. But to tailgate when you have the passing lane available?? That's just stupid! I also love the jackoffs who don't know how to read the sign that says "Left lane closed 1 mile ahead". GTFO of that lane! Don't wait til the last minute!! It's these people that cause over 90% of the traffic jams. Whenever I am stuck in traffic and they are stopped waiting to get out of the closed lane, I refuse to let them in. It's called lane selection people. I was taught this 13 years ago in drivers ed, do they not teach it anymore??

In closing: If you're not passing, get out of the left lane. If there is a sign saying the lane is closing, get out of that lane, ASAFP! If you know where you're going to get off the road, be in the correct lane a few miles ahead of time so you don't cut people off and cause an accident. And if you do tailgate me while I'm in the right lane, and the left lane is open, prepare to spend a lot of cash on vehicle repairs. Because I have NO PROBLEM yanking the e-brake and having the front of your little car stuffed under the back of my truck. Oh, and you better have insurance, because I'll sue you for everything you have. By the time my lawyers are done you'll be living in a single-wide taking the bus because your insurance will be so high you will never be able to drive a car again!

i hate it when they get on my bumper.......i tap my brakes and so far it's always worked (oklahoma drivers ftw i guess?)

it's always bugged me when i let someone cut in front of me when there's lots of traffic and they don't give me a "thank you wave"...........that REALLY pisses me off for some reason. Or when people cut me off........My two red buttons i guess??

But, in most other instances, i usually have to be in the right lane because i can only do 60mph or so.

Now, in a passenger car, different story. If you are driving at least somewhat correctly, i don't usually **** around. But, be a tool and ride my @ss, and i will have some fun with you. The whole "speed up and slow down when you do" is my personal favorite. Don't try to pass me or ride my @ss when there is absolutely no way for me to get out of your way. Sometimes, as we all know, there just isn't anything you can do.

You mean you actually stay pretty much in the right lane in your rig?? NC truckers are the worst! They will hover around the speed limit in the left lane, and then refuse to move over when they hit a hill and drop to 10 under!! And the best was the one who tried to run me off the road when I was in the right lane doing the speed limit!! WTF?? He got the hell out of dodge real quick when the gun came up out of the moonroof though!

I just don't understand some people. I don't tailgate unless you were the douche bag that cut me off, then it's just for however long it takes me to slow down and get off your ***. Believe me, I am the last person that wants to rear-end someone. My feeling is that if everyone just learned how to drive, and exercized a little common courtesy, the roads would be safer, and I can guarantee that there would be a lot less traffic jams.

Just a note for those who get ppl tailgating them, if your in the right late (and only the right lane) its OK to do this. You might also want to be armed because you just never know. If your being tailgated in the left lane, your a moron, move to the right. On road trips I usually end up draining the entire tank (depends how many morons I run across)

Some of you people fail to realize that driving in NY is nothing like driving in the backwoods of Louisiana...there's no such thing as a PASSING LANE. It's a fast lane. We were in steady traffic. Cars were going same speeds in both lanes. No reason to ride up someone's *** WHEN THERE'S NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO, in the city the left lane is the fast lane, anything to the right is for slower traffic. If only it was enfoced that way it would be great. As for the passing lane thing, that only applys to open roads (highways in general) and I wish that was strictly enforced. Every now & then you get the random moron going the speed limit in the "passing lane" those are the ones I end up srpaying.
