if your car has a transponder or whatever chip that needs to be in the key for ignition, then its gonna be pretty expensive considering its just a key.

I got a key made for my VW Jetta Keyfob made for $70 bucks. The last guy that owned the car payed for it though. Thank God...

I just had to give them my VIN number and the main Vdub place sent them a key. Worked perfect.

I always carry a spare house key and car key in my wallet ... You should, too.

Best thing to do is break the window, put the car in neutral and roll it over a cliff. Take the insurance money and buy a GM.

When I locked my key in my car I went up to the dealership to see if they would make me a new key, but it had a chip in it, I dont remember the price but I decided it was worth it to spend $50 to get a locksmith to open my car... and say **** an extra key ...

I can just get a VIN off of any car walking down the street and get a key made in that case!
