I am not merely basing this on XMAX alone, allthough the Motor/VC assembly is quite impressive with its excursion ratings- however, notice that Adire rates thier XMAX one way- that means that Peak to Peak excursion would be greater.

No offense to anyone, I'm only trying to get my brother a good system, and if I can save him some $$, then that's tight, but I don't want to tell him to get something and not have it to perform as good as what he has in mind. He pretty much paid for my system which cost a total of $600, including everything from the HU to the wiring, I do my own installations, so I told him I would build him a sweet system. He really wants the MTX 8124, but if you can tell me that the adivas can outperform the 8124, then that sounds like a better deal to me.
