What would hit harder on a Pioneer GM-X962 "380 watts RMS bridged"....350 watt RMS Pioneer 15" TSW384C , 500 Watt Pioneer 12" TSW1241C, 400 watt RMS 12" Pioneer TSW3041C, 200 watt RMS Rockford HE RFP3412, 200 watt RMS Rockford RFP3415, 400 watt RMS Kicker Comp VR 12", 500 watt RMS Kicker Comp VR 15"?

Any other amp and sub combo's for under $300?

I would like to be able to beat my friends in SPL but I want it to sound clear. I listen to mostly rock "60%" and rap "40%".

The hardest hitting system at my school right now is two older model 400watt max 12" pioneers on a 300 watt Jensen amp. Others that I know of are one older 400watt RMS 12" on a 1000 watt boss amp, a 12" Audiobahn 700 watt RMS on a 300 watt amp, and an older model 12" 400 watt max Pioneer on a 300 watt Jensen ....then there is my current system "one older model 10" Pioneer 400 watts max on a 200 watt Pioneer amp."

The only thing I can come close to beating is the Pioneer 12 on the 300 watt Jensen....and it sounds better. The only thing I can say for my 10" is that I've put it through hell since last summer and its still going strong.

So what do yall think?

I will give you a list that costs under 300 dollars i think you mean subs and amp togther since you have no amp right? Well anywa never buy anything at wallmart jensen ***** and pioneer subs **** as well. All i can say is go get yourself an account on e-bay and look on there i would get a rockford fosgate 250.2 amp for 150 dollars and you got 150 left on subs and you can get a Jl audio 12inch W3 subwoofer. Your schools subs **** were do you live in a ghetto? Well anyways i have the best system at my school And i spent 1300 on my system and i can easy beat anyone there. One guy has a 2600 dollar system from Circuit City and that is professially installed mtx 6000 subs 3 of them 10s mtx amp and install cost 700 dollars alone so it just goes to show you that if you install them right and look i the right places you can have a awsome system at a cheap price i have 2 JL audio 12 w3s and a Jl 500/1 amp with audiocontrol x overs and eqs and i love it on of the better sounding jl setups i have heard so yeah i can easilly say no 1 will ever touch you at your school when you get what i said. The difference between those subs and the one you will be getting is like night and day you should'nt even be able to stand it in the cab of you vehicle. And oh ya the subs is like 130 new so you will have 20 left over to bet someone who has the better system.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My school is VERY small...there is like 350 people total K-12. The sound shop around here sales Pioneer and Planet Audio so thats what just about everyone has. I was asking about the Pioneer amp because I found it at a web sight for $130 and figured it would be good. I have about $700 in my system right now, but I'm supposed to be saving for a new car so I don't want to spend much more.

I've looked at nearly every car audio site I know of and the JL w3's seem expensive. I like the idea but where should I look "besides ebay"?

I know Pioneer sub's aren't that great but almost all of the ones I listed are their top sub's. I also like the Kicker comp VR's and the Rockford Fosgate HE's, what about them?

I've got about $1000 saved up that I was going to use for a system....but I was informed that if I spend that much on a system I wasn't getting a new Mustang next year. I plan on going all out on it so whatever I get only has to last a year to a year and a half.

What do yall think about 15's?

What will hit the hardest out of the ones I listed?

Ok is that 1000 dollars for you subs and amp alone or does that include head unit componets componets amp wires and everything else awnser back and will be glad to help also e-bay is the bst place to go with the cheapest prices i have seen on everything.:p

It WAS just for amp's and sub's..."I would have had a killer system", but I can't use it because I have to help with the car. I'm limited to about $300 for the amp and sub.

I know what brands and sub's are good, the problem is that I can't spend the money for the ones I really like "thats why I'm looking a Pioneer/ Lower model RF and Kicker."

Ok here ya go

Go to e-bay get a

RF 250.2 for around 169 buy it now

2 12 kicker comps for around 95 new

I have this same setup in my dodge ram and it thumps pretty **** hard for me and will blow any pioneer out of the water get it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

How about an Infinity 12.1 "or 12.1D" on a JBL P180.2 or JBL BP300.1?

The 12.1D is $159.99 "but it now"

The 12.1 is $154.99 "buy it now"

The P180.2 is $124.95 "buy it now"

The 300.1 is $115 "buy it now"

Yeah great speaker but no way those amps will amps will push that sub to its potential. But i am serious get the kickers and fosgate amp i am telling you it hits if you install it right. Plus the 12.1 is more of a sq sub than a spl so if you want lots of boom stay away from the 12.1

I know that it will take more than its rated 350 rms, but those amps are putting out 300 and 360 rms, and they are supposed to be underrated. I really want more SQ than anything, but I want it to hit harder than those other systems when I turn it up.

Aren't the regular Kicker comps 4 ohm SVC?

good amps to buy are the Planet audio class d amps, i won the 1200d, it puts out 700x1 at 4 ohms, 1060x1 @ 2 ohms and 1510x1 @ 1 ohm, and yes it is 1 ohm stable!!

Check out some of their subs, too. Although i run alpine speakers, and a type r 15 in my car i use planet amps to run everything cause they have a great sound and plenty of juice
