Didn't even have to lift a finger. The internet is a nice place.
This is not really a virus, it's just users that have given away their MySpace username and password away to spammers, half the time they have no clue they did just that. This is NOT MySpace doing anything, it's spammers...
This easily happens when your viewing your friends profile that has a hidden embedded image over the users profile pic, so when you click on the pic it takes u to a different site that ask for your username and password to continue, now people like me can tell that
http://www.bigbobbeep.com/myspace.htm is not the same as
http://www.myspace.com and I immediately manually type in
http://www.myspace.com to ensure I am on the true site, and not a phising site. However sometimes people are confused and they enter in their information to these spammers. If you look at the bottom of these spam sites it says "We will use this information to comment your friends, email others...etc to promote our website" your basically agreeing to let them spam your account in a sick twisted way.
These spammers now have your MySpace login details and they use robots to log into your account and email and comment all your friends, and post bulletins without you even knowing.
The ONLY way to stop this is change your MySpace and email account password immediately and it will stop almost instantly since the robots can no longer enter your account.
Again it's not myspace, it's not a bug, it users giving away their login details to spammers or phisers, and robots doing all the spamming. Change your password and all is fixed :=)
