man again here u go u neglected to mention the big point there of that ur mr2 is TURBOCHARGED dumb *** again back to the fact of compression ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh holy balls just because your car is stock turbo go find stock supercharged car like i said a few days ago 03 cobra

Ok, and to even get just the MOTOR/TRANSMISSION from one of those it is going to cost you 10k at the LEAST. I paid 3k total for my car.

I understand why you are considering making your Bonnie fast, for the rare and unique factor. I tried the same thing with my Thunderbird Super Coupe. Trust me, the more you do to it, the more you will realize why others DONT do it to those cars lol. They are heavy as hell and just not built to take that kind of abuse. My girlfriends cousin just got a very nice 03 Mustang GT that needed a synchro(I think???) for 5k. It is absolutely spotless. I understand he got a steal, but just shows that its possible. Do you have cash or are you going to get a loan? If you have the cash, I would keep the Bonnie for about 5 years and invest that money. You could double it in 5 years...

Realistically. I have 10k cash. Which is what I wanted to buy the car with. Mods would be done over about 1 years time.

Why not just buy some small shitter RWD car and throw a rebuilt v8 in it and have fun driving it? To me throwing $20,000 in a car to get 10mpg at a time like this is just crazy. Throw a couple grand in a project, take it out and have some fun and still have money in the bank. Get a 1970 240z and dump a v8 in it. If you've never driven a 240z, you got to man. Not a 260 or 280, but a 240

Had one with the original motor slightly tricked out, custom body worked, lowered with 10 inch wide centerlines 40 series. One of the funnest cars ever. Was roughly a high mid 13 second car, and handled corners like crazy. kept up with a 2001 porsche 911 all the way down te pacific coast highway until the bottom straightaway lol.

I never said you dont know what fast is. You are trashing my car(well all 4 cylinders..) and it is faster than your cars lol. That is like someone talking trash about someone with 2 18s doing low 150s saying it isnt loud at all and is bad, when the dude talking has 2 sony xplodes lol

And you're not making any sense when you say compression. Turbos and superchargers are a way to increase compression. It's called forced induction. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about when it comes to cars.
