I got a VW Golf III, i need some suggestions

Ya, i'm sort of a newbie to car audio. What do you recommend i put in my car, i alreadly got a deck. So far everything is stock and I have Kenwood's MP3 deck. I want some more powerful audio in my car, i was thinking of putting new 6.5's in all of the doors and some 6x9s in the back, give me some suggestions
