All I can is ask for some help please. Idk how im supposed to have these wired to this amp.

2 12's plus 2 15's = 4 DVC subs. All four subs are 4 ohm. Amp is 2 ohm stable.

Right now I have the the two 12'' sub woofers hooked up series/parallel.

But should I do the same with the two 15's? and hook up the two 12's in one channel

and hook up the 15's in the other? oh what would be the ohm load on the amp then?

I have two 12'' subwoofers.

Details:

dual 4-ohm voice coils

aluminum deposit cone with Santoprene rubber surround

non-resonant aluminum basket

frequency response: 20-100 Hz

power range: 75-750 watts RMS (375 watts per coil)

peak power handling: 1,500 watts

sensitivity: 86.6 dB

2 or 4 ohm load

I have two 15" subwoofers.

Details:

Sensitivity: 92 dB

RMS Power Range : 1000 Watts

Peak Power Handling: 2000 Watts

Impedance: 4 Ohm

Number of Voice Coils: Dual

2.5'' Dual Layer High Temperature Kapton Voice Coil

100 + 100 oz. Heavy Double Stacked Magnet Structure

And for my amp

Power:

RMS Power @ 4 ohms 450 watts x 2 channels

RMS Power @ 2 ohms 650 watts x 2 channels

RMS Power @ 1 ohm Not Stable

Bridged RMS Power 5000 watts x 1 channel

Peak Power Output 2500 watts x 2 channels

Amplifier Specifications:

Amplifier Class AB

Number of Channels 2

Total Peak Power Output 5000 watts

Total RMS Power Output 5000 watts

Maximum Input Gauge Size 4 AWG

Minimum Impedance Unbridged 2 ohms

Minimum Impedance Bridged 4 ohms

THD at Rated RMS Power 0.1%

Preamp Outputs 1 pair

Built-in Crossover:

Low-pass (LP)

High-pass (HP)

Full (AP)

High-Pass Crossover Frequency 40 - 250 Hz

Low-Pass Crossover Frequency 40 - 250 Hz

Signal-to-Noise Ratio 95 dB

Channel Separation 65 dB

Bass Boost 0 - 18 dB

Fuse Rating 70A x 2

CEA-2006 Compliant No

you could run all four at 4ohms a channel or 1 ohm a channel which would more then likely blow the amp.. with what you have you wont be able to run all four safely or at full power and its also not recomened to run two sets of differnt subs like that. some times less is way more. sell the twelves and run the 15's.what subs are they the 12's and 15s?

Id be happy to do 4 ohms. Its kinda what I was hoping to hear to be honest. And the amp is 2 ohms stable. doesn't hit 1 ohm.

12"

04S12L7

I have 4 15's but I only listed the sucky ones. But here

Ill list both 15'' duals

T215D4

MAXP154D

Reason I listed only one pair of the 15's was because I was gonna stick the other pair in my step moms mustang.

Some bs thing haha. My friend is giving it to me. Um.

MXA284

It Powers his type-r's like a beast.

The amp I use now for my L7's is a mtx thunder6500d mono 2 channel.

I don't know why they make two channel monos so I have them series/parallel.

I cant turn the amp up max without burning the fuses. So idk.

the 6500 is a mono amp and your running it below its recomended ohm load on music.i would still pick either the L7's or the rockfords and just run 2 ohm a channel, i would guess your amp wouldnt have the balls to run the 12's and 15's any way with out you clipping the hell out of it.. due one pair in a good box then upgrade the amp

Um the amp has protective crap lol. So it doesn't clip. but how? its running at like 4 ohms. The amp is 2 ohm stable.

How would I run them at two ohms a channel? I don't understand the wiring sorry. But ill get like a 2500 watt amp. ill be lookin for some like 3 x 35 amp fuses. That will be good:)

The protection circuit dose not stop clipping!!!! Clipping can be caused by many things, mainly having the gain set to high.

I have the same amp and yes it has the "compression" circuit but it dose not stop clipping from over driving the amp.

And good luck finding a true 2500 watt amp with only 105a(3x35a fuses) worth of power supply.

Most real 2k+ amps have current ratings of 200a and up.

Its life bro. Gotta experience everything once. Just cause someone told you that when wiring two 12's and two 15's that it will sound like junk. But how would you know until you try it.

The only way ill be able to hook the subs up to that 6500d. Id have to series/parallel all four subs.

But I was reading something before and a guy with a two channel amp did exactly what I wanted to do.

But he wired it with one 12'' and one 15'' in parallel to one channel and the same to the other two subs. Im just wondering. Its not like im offering full power to any of the subs. Cause I know L7's can bypass there rms ratings.

Oh then I guess the amp is junk to me lol. Idc bro. Money in not the issue, this stuff comes cheap to me. Im just hear to have fun.
